Year 2006 the doors opened to Berns 2.35:1 in Stockholm. 2.35:1 originally opened as a video gallery featuring video art from Jonas Akerlund, Andy Warhol and many others on the screens that were and still are a big part of our club’s own expression.
2007 Martin Kling started working at 2.35:1 and it didn’t take long before the club had a different focus, Music. Martin brought in Payman Dehdezi and since then we’ve changed the entire sound, lighting and atmosphere and gone from working with outside clubs and promoters to make all bookings our own.
The road has been long, but after passionate work 2.35:1 has invited more great producers and Djs than any other Stockholm club before. At 2.35:1 we have 1 goal and that is to give Stockholm a club that is trustworthy. A few of the legends who’ve visited 2.35:1 are Carl Craig, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Dj Koze, Sven Väth, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kenny Larkin, Jerome Sydenham, Adam Beyer and many more.
Of course we fully support our monthly residents and wish them all the best: Steffi, Nima Khak, Nihad Tule and Axel Boman.
Last but not least, the most important thing in our work is that we are going for what we think is fun and grab what comes our way.
