Adam Beyer’s music is synonymous with all that is exciting about techno. Having emerged as the figurehead of the hugely prolific Swedish techno scene, Beyer’s focused and considered approach to his craft has worked to confirm his position as a globally recognized DJ and producer headlining cutting edge clubs and festivals week-in-week-out.
Adam is also one of the most acclaimed production talents on the scene and has consistently delivered cutting edge music across his 3 labels – Drumcode, Truesoul and Madeye. Over the years he has also built up a highly prized roster of talent on the labels and his meticulous ear for quality productions is highly renowned. His Drumcode events have also achieved much praise across the globe and his highly respected weekly ‘Drumcode live’ FM radio show is broadcast on over 40 stations worldwide with the podcast having already achieved well over 3 million downloads.
When detailing Joel Mull’s production career it’s almost easier to name the labels that he is yet to appear on than to list the magnitude of seminal labels that have come calling for his work. Brief highlights include Harthouse (who released Joel’s most recent album ‘The Observer’, Superstition, Turbo, Music Man, Cocoon, Drumcode, EC Records, Audiomatique, Liebe*Detail, Jericho and Saved Records. This variety of labels says everything about the versatility of Joel’s approach to making music and his ability to balance sounds from across the spectrum with heavy-duty rhythms, chords, and melody. As a DJ, Joel brings the same qualities he has exhibited in his studio work to the live arena. Comfortably combining music from across a range, Joel is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussions to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound. Regularly touching down across Europe, Asia, Australia and North and South America, Joel enjoys a worldwide fan base. Most at home when building the marathon sets that allow him to explore the range of his musical inspiration, the Joel Mull sound has become a key part of the Drumcode events at which Joel enjoys a privileged residency and regularly plays back-to-back with Adam Beyer.
A product of Sweden’s seemingly endless conveyor of techno talent, Ida Engberg has carved herself a career as a DJ/Producer through relentless hard work and passion. Now an internationally recognized talent whose taste for stripped back, sweat on the ceiling tech-house and techno has been the driving force behind a career progression; Ida can boast a growing production catalogue as she continues her elevation through the electronic music ranks. Ida can be found playing her brand of techno and tech house in clubs all over the world every weekend. 2010 and 2011 saw Ida rock parties at Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Exit Festival Serbia, Extrema Norway, Tomorrowland Belgium, Dance Valley Amsterdam, Miami’s Sunday School for Degenerates, Space Ibiza & Miami, Cocoon Frankfurt, Panorama Bar Berlin, Old River In Neaples, Awakenings Amsterdam, Ageha Tokyo and Amnesia Ibiza & Milan amongst many others. She is also taking part in the Drumcode 15 years tour together with Adam Beyer.
Patrick Siech (Drumcode, 1:53.2) is one of the latest talents to emerge from the prominent Swedish techno scene. As a die hard club promotor, DJ and live act, he’s been providing the regions of Southern Sweden with quality techno for many years. With releases on Drumcode and Truesoul, he’s joined a prosperous stable of Swedish techno producers already hosting his fellow Swedish country men Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Joel Mull, Jesper Dahlbäck, Ida Engberg and Agaric to name a few. Patricks tracks has received massive support from the worlds biggest names in EDM, such as Sasha, Luciano, Alan Fitzpatrick, Gregor Tresher, LocoDice, Technasia, John Digweed, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Slam, Len Faki, Richie Hawtin, Bodzin, Joel Mull and Drumcode head honcho Adam Beyer.
