Skudge Records label night has become a recurrent affair at Gallery 2.35:1. Every quarter Skudge recordings bring machines and new talent to be unleashed in our club. This time they bring the UK producer Boddika and long time friend Bernadott that both will play records during this night.
Analog machines and the warm sound that they create is less often heard in the world of modern dance music where most technology today can be found in the computer. In Skudge’s productions it is the analogue sound that flows. This has resulted in a string of releases on labels like Boddika’s Nonplus and their own Skudge Records. Boddika or Al Bleek is also breathing life into dusty hardware and takes the listener back to a time where the borders between techno, house and electro where less obvious. As one half of the the duo Instra:mental and with his impressive body of solo material as Boddika Al Bleek has made a name for him self as one of of the most innovative producers the modern underground scene has to offer.
