Since founding Hotflush in 2003, Scuba has grown it into a leading institution within the ever-changing world of dubstep. The label has put out a steady stream of forward-thinking releases, including acclaimed LPs like Scuba’s Triangulation and Mount Kimbie’s Crooks and Lovers, both of which ranked among the top 10 of RA’s 2010 favorites. Meanwhile, Rose’s Sub:stance night has helped bring bass music to Berlin since 2008; early last year saw the release of an official mix CD on Ostgut Ton.
